Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 28, 2026

Vine Projects ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website vineprojects.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

If you have any questions about this policy or your personal information, contact us at studio@vineprojects.com.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you fill out our contact form or sign up for our newsletter, we collect the information you submit — typically your name and email address, and any message you choose to send us. We only collect what you give us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through analytics technology, including your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, and how you arrived at and navigate the Site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies and Analytics below). We also use Google reCAPTCHA on our contact and newsletter form to protect against spam and bots; this involves automated collection of certain device and interaction data by Google.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries submitted through our contact form.
  • Send our email newsletter to subscribers who have signed up (and only to them).
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
  • Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors interact with the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and your activity on the Site. This information helps us measure traffic and improve our content.

You can learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across websites using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Most web browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect how some parts of the Site function.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party providers to operate the Site. Each processes data on our behalf under its own privacy practices:

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) — website analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) — email newsletter management. When you subscribe, your email address and related signup information are stored and processed by Mailchimp. See Mailchimp's Privacy Policy.
  • StaticForms — processes submissions from our contact form and delivers them to us by email. See StaticForms' privacy practices on their website.
  • Google reCAPTCHA (Google LLC) — bot and spam protection on our contact form. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information (such as device and application data) and sends it to Google for analysis. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy () and Terms of Service.

These providers may store data on servers located in the United States or other countries.

Email Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address solely to send you updates from Vine Projects. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. You can also email us at studio@vineprojects.com to be removed.

Data Retention

We keep contact form submissions and newsletter subscriber information for as long as needed to respond to you or to provide the newsletter, and no longer than necessary for the purposes described in this policy. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Your Rights below).

Your Rights

California residents. Under California law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of that information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell personal information, there is no "Do Not Sell" action required, but you may still make access or deletion requests by contacting us at studio@vineprojects.com.

[NOTE FOR REVIEW — remove before publishing] This section is written to apply generally. The CCPA/CPRA's full business obligations only attach to businesses above certain thresholds (roughly $25M+ in annual revenue, personal information on 100,000+ California consumers/households, or deriving 50%+ of revenue from selling/sharing personal information). A small studio is likely below these, but a posted privacy policy is still expected under California's CalOPPA for any commercial site collecting personal information. Have counsel confirm if the client scales.

Visitors in the EU / UK. If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and the right to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us at studio@vineprojects.com.

[NOTE FOR REVIEW — remove before publishing] If the Site knowingly receives EU/UK traffic, GDPR requires a lawful basis for analytics cookies (typically consent) regardless of traffic volume. A lightweight consent banner or Google Consent Mode would address this. If the client is comfortable accepting the (low, for mostly-local traffic) risk of not having one, that should be a documented, informed decision. Recommend legal review before publishing.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
